PGA MERCHANDISE SHOW FULL OF HIGHLIGHTS FOR BIG MAX

Europe’s #1 push cart and waterproof golf bag brand BIG MAX has had a 2019 PGA Merchandise show full of highlights, with the world’s golf industry professionals and media blown away by the 2019 line up of products that were showcased on the brand new BIG MAX booth.

All the latest products from BIG MAX were on show in Orlando, including the 2018 star of the show the BLADE IP. Despite being it’s second year on the booth, the Blade IP stunned visitors with its Fold Flat mechanism that leaves it less than 5 inches deep when folded. While the Blade IP got many admiring looks, the stand out BIG MAX products for 2019 were its line of waterproof Aqua, and water-resistant Dri Lite, golf bags.

In line for special praise on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive was the Aqua Sport 2, that was highlighted as one of its 3 quality golf bags, a real accomplishment considering the number of competitor brands on show. Golf.com went one further and identified the whole Aqua line as one of only four products that caught the eye at Demo day, as well as highlighting the line in it’s Best of the PGA Merchandise Show feature.

From a business perspective the show brought huge success as BIG MAX looks to expand its global reach. BIG MAX owner Thomas Reiter feels that although the dynamics of the show have changed over recent years, it is still presents important business opportunities for the brand, as he explains, “The show is a fantastic opportunity to market our products to a number of different audiences. The PR we are able to create is fantastic as there are so many journalists from all around the world in the same place at the same time. Plus we can show our new lines to our existing distributors, and we can put the brand in the shop window for distributors in new markets. The bonus was that we made quite a few orders as well!”

With new distributor deals for territories across the globe in the pipeline plus fantastic P.R. for the new lines the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show was a great success for BIG MAX. There was even time for a contest between Austria, the U.S. and the U.K. that saw representatives of each country go head to head in the BIG MAX Blade IP Challenge https://twitter.com/BigMaxGolf/status/1088845700388085766. Check out the results and share in one of the many highlights of the show for BIG MAX.

BIG MAX Blade+, carry handle

The best 4 reasons to buy the BIG MAX Blade IP

We are very grateful to Ronald Montesano, Golfwrx, that he shares his personal experience with our BLADE IP and mentions 4 very good reasons to buy:

Reason 1: Storage

After a round of golf, we store our cart. First, in the car; next, in the garage or basement. Golfers have an inkling how easy this will be, when the box arrives at your door. The Blade IP rests within, already assembled. You’ll simply extract it from the cardboard storage material and unfold it. With the Blade series, no more searching for a cube of space in the trunk. The Blade IP lays flat and sits cheerfully atop the other bags and carts you’ve stored post-round. In retrospect, although the predecessor also lay flat, the unfolding and refolding did take a bit of work (and an advanced degree.) No such issue with this updated model. According to the home office of Big Max, the principal difference is in the folding mechanism. BIG MAX has completely simplified this into a three stage process. You simply fold the handle, push the two parts of the body together and then lift the cart to see the wheels flip automatically under the body.

BIG MAX Blade IP is our star in the „Morning Read Newsletter“!

Great News for our BIG MAX Blade IP: For the “Morning Read Newsletter” UK from 3.10.2018, which goes to over 1 million golfers the BIG MAX Trolley is the new superstar. This is very well documented in the following original quote:

Smaller Footprint Needs Bigger Thinking

Big Max leaves smaller environmental footprint as it cuts all plastic from packaging in Blade Quattro and the new Blade IP

BIG MAX, Europe’s most owned push cart brand, has made the decision to completely remove plastic from all of its packaging, reduce total packaging by 70%, increase the proportion of recyclable materials it uses and even work with its manufacturing partner to reuse the plastic protection material used during assembly and inter factory transports.

With global initiatives such as the ‚Clean Oceans Alliance‘ and ‚Break Free from Plastic‘ raising awareness of the impact of the overuse of plastic, BIG MAX has decided to play its part in reducing its environmental footprint, as Thomas Reiter, Owner of BIG MAX explains,

„As BIG MAX becomes a truly global brand we feel an increased responsibility to reduce the impact of our activity on the environment. By reducing our plastic consumption and increasing the use of recyclable materials we can play a small part in helping the environment in all of the countries in which we operate. As always with BIG MAX we commit to our ideas, so are proud to have quickly reached the point where we have received Green Seal certification and an EU Ecolabel for our efforts.“

The change in BIG MAX processes has already started with the packaging for the new BLADE IP and the BLADE Quattro push carts. In total, 21 polybags have been removed, plastic envelopes for the user manual have been replaced with paper and the axle protection for transportation has changed from plastic to cardboard. In total, the packaging on each cart has been reduced by 70%, with an added benefit being that assembly for the consumer is even more simple and significantly quicker.

The new BLADE IP and the BLADE Quattro carts are the first BIG MAX products that will be packaged to these specifications with all BIG MAX products due for a refresh of their packaging over the coming year.
